We keep the process clear at every stage, with your approved sample and specification remaining the reference throughout production and the journey to you.
Making It
From your first enquiry through production and QC.
Tell us what you need
A tech pack, design, reference garment, photo or description is enough to start. Tell us what you need made, your approximate quantity, your preferred delivery date and anything else that is important to your garment.
Development
We agree the specifications, measurements, fabric, trims and branding, and confirm the minimum and price. If you already have a complete specification, we'll work from it.
Fabric & trims
Use your own materials, or we'll help source them. We can work with customer-supplied fabric and trims, or help source suitable fabrics, buttons, zips, labels and other trims based on the requirements of your garment.
Sample
A sample is normally made and approved before bulk production. Time and cost depend on the garment and requirements.
As a general guide, sampling can take up to around three weeks once all information and materials are confirmed.
Your approval
Once you approve the sample, it becomes the reference for bulk production.
Nothing goes into bulk until you've approved the sample.
Production
Production takes place at our facility in Pakistan, following the approved sample and specification. The garments are produced according to the agreed requirements, including the approved construction, measurements, fabric, trims and branding.
Production QC
Production QC takes place at three stages:

- During Production
- Pre-Dispatch
Getting It To You
From international logistics through UK QC to delivery.
International logistics
Our logistics partners bring your order to the UK, usually by air, with the shipping and customs process handled as part of the arrangement. We can normally provide delivered pricing as part of your quotation.
UK quality check
Your order comes to our UK QC location in Sherborne and is checked against the approved sample and your order requirements.
Checked in the UK before it reaches you.
Delivery to you
We dispatch your order to your address. Transit times vary with the order, shipping method and destination, and we'll give you an estimate when we quote.

Yes. Stitch Away Ltd is registered in England & Wales and run from Sherborne, Dorset, and your contract and payment are with the UK company.
No. We can source fabric and trims, or work with materials you supply.

Three checks take place during production — Before Production, During Production and Pre-Dispatch — followed by a UK-side quality check in Sherborne before delivery.

Yes. Orders come through our UK QC location, where they're checked against the approved sample and your order requirements before final delivery.
We normally arrange it for you. Our logistics partners bring your order to the UK, and we deliver it to your address after the UK check.
We normally quote delivered prices, with logistics and delivery included.
How duty and import taxes are treated depends on the delivery arrangement and is confirmed in your quotation.
Yes. Send your delivery postcode with your enquiry.
Yes. Your goods can still come through our UK QC location before we hand them over.
