About Stitch Away Ltd
Stitch Away Ltd is a UK-registered clothing manufacturer with production based in Pakistan. We specialise in shirts, jackets, uniforms and workwear, working with UK brands and businesses from orders of 50 pieces per style.
Our customers deal directly with us in the UK from the first conversation through to delivery. We handle the communication, quotations, approvals and production management here in the UK, while our garments are made by our own production team in Pakistan.
But Stitch Away is about more than making garments.
We are building a business that creates real opportunities for real people. Our team is trained in garment-making and supported with steady work, helping people develop skills they can rely on, earn independently and build a better future for themselves and their families

Stitch Away Ltd is a UK-registered clothing manufacturer, with production based in Pakistan. We specialise in shirt manufacturing, alongside jackets, uniforms and workwear for UK brands, businesses and organisations. From smaller production runs of around 50 pieces per style to larger orders, our aim is simple: to make quality garments properly, while giving our customers a straightforward and reliable manufacturing partner.
Our customers deal directly with our UK company from the first conversation through to delivery. We manage the communication, quotations, approvals and production process from the UK, while our garments are made by our production team in Pakistan.
But there is another part of Stitch Away that matters just as much to us.
The people behind the garments.
Many of the women who work with us are supporting their families, and some are widows. We train our team in garment-making and production skills, provide steady work and help people develop a trade they can rely on. For us, that means creating an opportunity to earn independently and build something better for themselves and their families.
Our team includes people from different backgrounds, ages and walks of life. The photographs on this website show our actual people and our own production environment — because this is not a story we have created for the website. It is part of what Stitch Away is genuinely building.

The people behind Stitch Away
Stitch Away is run by two people who believe good clothing should do good too — for the brands who sell it, and for the people who make it.
Tara Kozana
Tara has always loved clothes. Long before Stitch Away existed, she was the one with a head full of ideas — noticing how a collar sits, how a fabric falls, and why some garments just feel right.
She's a wife and a mother first, and that shapes how she sees the business. When Muhammad shared his vision for Stitch Away, what drew her in wasn't only the garments. It was the chance to build something that does real good along the way. Our production in Pakistan provides training and steady work, especially for women who are supporting their families, including widows. For Tara, that's the heart of it: every order helps keep that work going.
So she brought the two things together — her passion for clothing and her wish to make a difference. Today she brings her eye for design and detail to every project, helping brands turn ideas into finished garments, and making sure the ethical side of what we do is never an afterthought.
Muhammad Hamza Bin Azhar
Stitch Away started small. During the pandemic, Muhammad was working directly with production in Pakistan, on the ground, seeing first-hand the skill in the workshops and how much of it was going unnoticed.
But he also saw the gap on the other side. UK brands wanted well-made garments at fair prices, yet buying straight from overseas often meant risk — unclear terms, quality surprises, customs headaches, and no one local to hold accountable. So he built the bridge: a UK company that manages the whole journey, from sampling and production to logistics, customs, and a final quality check here in the UK before goods reach the customer.
For Muhammad, it's always been about more than margins. He wants brands to grow and make good money — and to know their clothes are made by people who are treated fairly. Alongside Stitch Away, he is also the founder of Aware Pakistan Foundation, a non-profit working on mental health awareness, hunger relief and children's welfare in Pakistan.
